EP. 6: Skip Vaccarello, Author and Technology Executive
Skip Vaccarello is a public speaker, author, business advisor, and principal in 1 Flourish Capital, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm.
With over 30 years of experience in leadership positions for Silicon Valley technology companies, Skip Vaccarello discusses his personal journey through the computer revolution and his immersion into the Christian faith.
In 1979, Skip came to Silicon Valley as the VP of Operations with VisiCorp, the provider of the industry's first spreadsheet, Visicalc. Recently, he served as CEO and President of a global company providing software and services to the maritime industry, Applied Weather Technology.
Vaccarello earned an A.B. in economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Boston University.
In his book, Finding God in Silicon Valley--Spiritual Journeys in a High-Tech World, Skip describes how God works in the lives of people in Silicon Valley, inspiring and helping those with faith issues.
Today, Skip Vaccarello is a founding partner in a church plant called New Beginnings Community Church (NBCC), helping people on a one-on-one basis with their faith journey.
