EP. 28: John lennox, PHD
On Episode 28 of the Purpose Nation Podcast, we spoke with John Lennox, PhD, professor emeritus of mathematics at the University of Oxford.
He studied at the Royal School Armagh, Northern Ireland and was Exhibitioner and Senior Scholar at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University from which he took his MA, MMath and PhD.
As an internationally renowned speaker and author, he explores the fields of science, philosophy, and religion in his books, namely, God’s Undertaker: Has Science Buried God?, God and Stephen Hawking, Can Science Explain Everything?, Gunning for God, Where Is God In A Coronavirus World?.
Prof. Lennox has traveled the world defending the rationality of Christianity and belief in God. he has not only lectured on the intellectual defense of Christianity, but has debated some of the world’s most prominent atheists, including Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, and Peter Singer.
Some of his hobbies include walking, bird-watching, and amateur astronomy. He and his wife have three grown up children and nine grandchildren.
