EP. 14: Gerald cleaver, phd - baylor university professor
Gerald Cleaver is a highly skilled and experienced problem solver who pursues space and defense technology projects in private industry and government.
With John H. Schwarz as his advisor, Cleaver attained his Ph.D. at Caltech in 1993. He investigates quantum gravity theories, trans-Planckian physics, and their signatures in the Cosmic Microwave Background.
With over 15 years of management experience of research groups, Cleaver is a great communicator with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Currently, he directs the Early Universe Cosmology and Strings (EUCOS) division of Baylor University’s Center for Astrophysics, Space Physics and Engineering Research (CASPER).
Cleaver has written over 100 peer-reviewed publications in top-tier research journals, articles, and conference proceedings. He co-authored one book and authored 5 book chapters.
